Summer is almost over, the last rays of sunshine start to be rare. Long sleeves are back. A last stop at the beach was needed – back in Toronto, it’s not very complicated to make a quick stop to the Sugar Beach, just minutes away from downtown. After a long day locked inside the office, a Vitamin D break is well deserved. You have to fill up before facing the tough winter!
Speaking of the Sugar Beach, I am craving candy, a cupcake or my famous brownie sundae. Guilty! I am addicted to sugar. Every day, I tell myself that I will cut down on sugar and other temptations, but I always end up succumbing. Could this be a lack of discipline and motivation? Why is it so difficult? Sugar overstimulates the part of the brain responsible for the reward centres causing a significant dependence, a little like cocaine or nicotine. The brain always asks for more and the motivation and determination necessary to resist may not always be there.
This vibrating skirt is currently on sale here, hurry up! Also, as you know, I’m a big fan of JCrew jewelry. When I’m looking for an original piece, it’s always my first stop 😉
